If I cancel my registration while I’m on leave, do I have to go through the whole application process again?

Yes. You will be required to complete an application for reinstatement of registration (see the Registration page for details). You will need to provide details of your continuing competence activities during your leave (if any). Depending on the purpose of your leave, you may be asked to provide additional information to assess your return to practice requirements.
